Looks like there are singles available for tonight's game via TM.  Ignore the "Currently not on sale" message and click "More info" to get to the ticket page.

I know nothing of this offsides you speak of....

Nonetheless, Anaheim probably deserved a win in Detroit this weekend having played as well as they did.  Both games very likely could have gone to OT.  You East Coasters should take a nap tomorrow evening as I seem to remember 3 of 4 games in this series going to OT back in 1997 (I had a law school final the morning of the 3 OT affair in Anaheim that I bombed...).

Yesterday's game reminded me so much of the 2003 3OT affair.  Giguere kept Anaheim in it until the Ducks could finally catch a break.  And, far be it for me to point out that Anaheim is 5-2 at the Joe since that game.

My favorite part was after the summer break, the professor sought me out and asked what happened (apparently she expected me to do better).  I told her that I was up until 4 AM watching an OT hockey game and just wasn't prepared/alert for the 9AM final.

She was so appalled, but I was fine with it.  I'm sure I said something like "Playoff hockey, what are you going to do?"

Oh yeah!  Caps are the only team up 2-0 in the semis after 2 games!  Off to Pittsburgh.

Maybe they can keep Sidney out of the crease next game.

Sour grapes?
I concur though...loads of 2nd and 3rd chances for the kid....though his last goal was pretty much garbage time.

Quite the opposite.  I'm a Caps fan.  Crosby scored Steckel-like goals.  Compare that to what Ovechkin did.

Yeah..all of OV's goals were from way outside...the last one esp. was suuuweeeeet.

I still say Crosby's last goal was pure garbage though...goalie pulled, desperation, nothing but a stat.

sid's the only pen thats come to score. pretty frustrating, both games in dc were winnable

i think the caps win anyway and by no means am i saying that the pens were robbed or anything like that, but if we're calling goals garbage, cooke was clearly interfered with on ovies second goal
