Aslin's new pre-9:30 show Forum meet-up spot opens tomorrow.

Also, there is a Finback tap takeover at Churchkey tomorrow featuring one of the best stouts I've ever had. And I have to be in DC tomorrow.

Hmmm. I know which of the two aforementioned options I'll be choosing.

Yikes, Churchkey is my current pre-show spot for 9:30. On the rare occasions I pre-game.

I guess I like walking.

Not a big deal for me at all...often park that far from the show as I don't like paying for parking

and I have it on good authority that you pregame at Whole Foods
which is only a block from church key

Do they even serve beer on tap at that Whole Foods anymore? Not the last time I was there.

There is a new Whole Foods at 967 Florida, a three minute walk from the 9:30 Club. I haven't been there though so don't know their beer setup.

I do know that WF stoped their policy allowing you to drink and shop...lame
no idea what the draft game is at either of those, but most of the WF I've been to have a bar (which is kinda nuts of you think of it.)

Pretty sure the "bars" at WF on P Street and H Street (used to go there after work sometimes) have never reopened. The one in Cap Hill did.

I think all the ones in VA reopened.

You know your life is a spoiled brat, when you need a bar at a food store.

The Wegmans with full restaurants and bars are surreal.

a topic I'm sure Space has researched

It's odd that some decent German 4 packs of bombers are waay cheaper than local brews
Tucher Helles Hefe Weizen,
Tucher Dunkles Hefe Weizen
Bitburger Premium Pilsner
Paulaner Pils
Paulaner Original Munich Lager
Fruh Kolsch ($10.50)
Kostritzer Schwarzbier ($11)

IMO these are very good beers too

Like $6.99 vs $16

Just seems crazy that they can ship it all the way from Germany and still be that much cheaper than a brewery only a few miles away
Is there some sort of Germany subsidy?

I don't know the answer to that one but is it wrong that i'm thinking of bringing some Monkish and Other Half to Europe next week?

Not sure i want to rely on just wine and German beer for a two week vacation.

Bitburger Premium Pilsner
Fruh Kolsch ($10.50)

I buy these often and enjoy them as well.

Pretty sure the "bars" at WF on P Street and H Street (used to go there after work sometimes) have never reopened. The one in Cap Hill did.

The SF ones only reopened in the last two weeks.
