The Feelies show Friday in Philly was fantastic. Expect an acoustic set to begin, then they'll do the electric set and many encores. Also, don't be completely surprised if this is their last DC show. I think they take things very much month by month, but it's unclear how much longer they'll be doing shows. See this one if you can,and enjoy it. We're lucky their reunion has lasted as long as it has.

Oh man...I didn't see this post, but at the show I kind of sort of thought I saw you (it's been like 20 years or something insane), but quickly lost you in the crowd.

Boy, mclusky hasn't missed a beat.  Just a phenomenal band.

Maybe Kim Gordon if I can find a ticket.

Mclusky. Been like 21 years since I last (and only)  time I saw them, for free at the Velvet Lounge. They were giving out free beer too for some reason?

That was a 930 Board Classic...all of our old friends were there. Markie. Lulu. Jadetree. Kurosawa. Thirsty. Probably more.

Despite the rumor Markie started, I didn't not go home with kurosawa.

In the end I managed to see both shows - snagged a free ticket to Sprints thanks to the kindness of a stranger - really good show, especially when the typical lame DC crowd decided to jump around a bit, albeit only 3 or 4 songs in - Sprints seemed pretty irked by the lack of energy commenting on it numerous times from the stage

I then ambled over to the Black Cat to find I had only missed the first two songs of Mclusky so in I went and back up the front - NKOTB is right they have not lost a beat - pure unadulterated wall of noise - sorry to miss you NKOTB!
