I do like the Mayor and most things he stands for

wow, this is quite a haul
ActBlue, an online fundraising platform for Democrats and progressive groups, pulled in $1.05 billion in campaign contributions for the party’s candidates and causes in 2019.

although I think some of this went almost directly to the Dem Campaigns who also claim this on their balance sheet

Can someone tell me why the Dems keep with this Primary schedule

1. caucus, while on paper sound like a great idea...are just a disaster
2. Iowa, NH, SC, NV as the first four...yikes
3. I think the Dems should be doing ranked choice voting in primaries

Of that number, approximately 15% participate in caucuses.

4.5% of Iowa’s population participates in the Dem caucus.

Hardly representative of the state let alone the country.

Julian from the Past complained exactly about this when he suspended his campaign.  he was banking on capturing a large portion of the non-white vote, yet the launchpads for the nomination - iowa and new hamphire - are two of the whitest states in the union.  bloomberg seems to think he can pull it off without those first 2 states (actually first 4 states, since he isn't on those ballots) but realistically no one has ever won the nom without being first or second in the first 2 states.
