hutch, once again you've missed the point: it's sanders who believes that the pandemic makes his message of universal healthcare more relevant, thus giving new life to his campaign, thus his refusal to quit.  in his mind, the worse this gets, the better his chances are.  at this point he probably knows he can't win the nom, but he can extract concessions from biden - like getting elements of his agenda on to biden's platform.

The longer he stays and gets routed the less concessions he can get

He is going to end up being Ron Paul

Three pillars of Trump’s case for reelection are collapsing all at once
KEY POINTS:
- President Trump’s reelection campaign was designed under the premise that the economy would be strong through November, but that’s not true anymore.
- Trump also planned to make socialism a central focus of his attacks. But without Bernie Sanders to run against, this argument becomes a lot less potent.
- Trump campaigned on “draining the swamp” of big government. Now he wants Americans to trust in big government to fight coronavirus and save the economy.

i disagree with the last point, it's a bit disingenuous.  "draining the swamp" isn't quite the same thing as reigning in big government.  but otherwise, interesting points.

Mike Bloomberg  spent nearly a BILLION DOLLARS – $936,225,041.67, to be precise – on his presidential bid, according to an FEC filing.

The $18M he transferred to the DNC today is less than 2% of that total.

it is interesting how many press briefings Trump has had since last Thursday (daily?)
He has been able to talk his way out of every obstacle in his life but seems he's met his match

My advice would be the same as before: just shut it, let the pros speak
