It really does look like we’ve turned the corner on this. My company is even ready to open out MoCo office. Fingers crossed.

I'm able to resume leading my running group, as long as fewer than 50 people show up!

779 new cases in MD+DC+VA
25 more deaths

Our region’s best numbers in about three months

Great news if you live in the area and want to keep doing so

Meanwhile Florida had over 3200 new cases yesterday

This is second hand information about Stage 3 in VA, but assuming it's true, might it be good news for the concert industry?

Phase 3 updates:

- Face coverings required

- 250 people at gatherings

- No cap on capacity at retail

- Entertainment venues may open at 50% capacity with a cap of 1000 people

- Gyms 75% capacity

- Child care open

Pools at 75%

I mean it would be good for the State (didn't that close already?) and the Birchmere, but not so much for Jiffy Luberz or the Patriot Center.

At 50% capacity, they'd need to double their (already ridiculous in the case of Birchmere) ticket and drink prices. Maybe the Birchmere could take the tables out and that would allow them the increase capacity. But many of the geezers who see shows there probably can't stand up for two hours straight.
