TAN & serious question: does anybody here eat taco bell?  i haven't touched any in about 15 years, and based on what i remember i'm in zero hurry to ever taste any again.  i love mexican-inspired food, but there are a million place to get a better taco, burrito, quesadilla, etc., that is made with real food... making a shell out of doritos won't make up for the horrific quality of what's inside it.

am i alone on an island here?  clearly some people are eating there, given their continue financial success...

It had been close to 2 decades for me (although as a young drunk...I ate it a lot)
on a road trip about 3 years, I stopped with the two kids and my youngest was like...let's go to taco bell, I love tacos

we bought about $30 of food and after a few bites, everyone agreed to throw everything out except the drinks

Taco Bell is probably your most popular fast food in the vegetarian/vegan community. It makes some sense since once you take the grade C meat out, how bad can you eff us a bean soft taco or whatever.

That said, probably been 3-4 years since I last had it on a road trip.

After the shutdowns started, a family in Montgomery County started selling tacos out of their carport. These are seriously the best tacos I've ever had in my life. I may be ruined for tacos now. You have to order on Wednesday for a Saturday pickup, and they usually sell out in less than two hours.

FWIW, I haven't been to Taco Bell in 20 years, and kinda retch anytime it gets mentioned.

Joe Wilkinson's tragically disqualified long-distance throwing of a potato into a golf hole has been voted the greatest moment in the history of Taskmaster.

Wilkinson managed to throw the potato into the hole from a distance on his first attempt, completing the task in just 14.3 seconds, to the amazement of everyone watching. However, a replay showed that Wilkinson's toes just touched the red material. His fellow contestants then voted as to whether he should be disqualified or not, returning a split judgement. Thus, host Greg Davies rules that Wilkinson should be disqualified and he scored no points.
