as far as changing views, i dont think his views on community organizing are what is important, what important is that he has that experience and made choices in his life based on that
oh, and it didn't appear that he was a terribly successful community organizer. . .plus, it just reinforces the position that he isn't anything but a politician. that, i think, is one take-away that can be made from that article. in order to "change" whatever he thinks needs to be change, he'd have to become a politican. hell, fred thompson said substantially the same thing on the tonight show.
why must you assume i'm always going to be negative? just because i think obama is a socialist and is more than willing to do and say anything to get himself elected, doesn't mean i don't think there are admirable traits and experiences. after all, he does come from a broken home, and we know how hard that can be.
