Nice one!

bloomberg seems to think he can pull it off without those first 2 states (actually first 4 states, since he isn't on those ballots) but realistically no one has ever won the nom without being first or second in the first 2 states.
well no one has ever skipped the first 4, so it's hard to tell if this strategy will work
few spare bil in the bank doesn't hurt

Can someone tell me why the Dems keep with this Primary schedule

Ask Florida, circa 2008...they may have some thoughts on the issue.

whoa...news to me...gosh 2008 seems like when we were using rotary phones and getting off the couch to change the channel
The Florida Democratic Presidential primary took place on January 29, 2008.

However, the Democratic National Committee determined that the date of the Florida Democratic Primary violated the party rules and ultimately decided to sanction the state, stripping all 210 delegates and refusing to seat them at the convention.
later...agreed to seat all of Florida's delegates with each delegate having only receive half a vote

I do remember DC tried to do something like that too and the DNC went ballistic

Now I can understand the RNC wanting Iowa first...but Iowa is hardly representative of the DNC
what is their logic for the order?

That is what decided the primary...there was a DNC meeting in DC to decide how to deal with FL and I think MI having jumped the gun

I was on Obama’s side...I remember Clinton surrogate Lanny Davis and I yelling at each other at the hotel

Good times

Good times

I believe that

also interesting that you are mentioned in this quote
“Lanny Davis has a unique combination of extensive experience as a first-rate practicing attorney and expertise in dealing with the media, political leaders, Hutch, and the legislative process. That’s much needed in the age of the internet and get it first before getting it right journalism.”
-President William Jefferson Clinton

He is the worst..which made it doubly funny when democrats where hailing him for representing Cohen...but I remember it like it was yesterday...one of us was on the escalator and I started yelling and heckling him and he yelled back at me...I think he yelled fuck you or fuck off...pure class

I never liked Bill Clinton...never bought the hype....he was a sleaze and had some real sleazes in his entourage...Hillary eventually got rid of Lanny but she still didn’t win!!

The day after Obama won presidency I was in line at Post to get souvenir newspaper and who pulls in parking lot next to Post (some law offices)...yeah Lanny

didn't see that coming...

Are you referring to Steyer's numbers?
Yes, steyer (although I've probably followed his campaign the least)
Sorry, thought that was obvious, but can see how it might not

whoa...the definition of putting your money where your mouth is (helps if you have a lot of money)
Mike Bloomberg will pay for the nearly 500 staffers on his presidential campaign to continue working through November to support whoever wins the 2020 Democratic nomination, even if it's not him.

If she is an anti-vaxxer, this is great:

If she is not, harsh.

I won't go as far as saying she's anti-vax, but to paraphrase that Andrew Gillum slam on DeSantis, I'm not calling Ms. Williamson an anti-vaxxer, I'm simply saying the anti-vaxxers believe she's an anti-vaxxer.
